VirtualMarshal app is used by participants to register for events and also while they compete in event that require them to visit various checkpoints. On reaching a checkpoint the app automatically registers the visit and records the time stamp.
Before the event starts the organisers setup various checkpoints using a simple map point and click interface. During the event organisers are able to constantly monitor competitors and then generate results once the competition time is over with time stamps listing or penalties incurred by each competitor.
